FAQ

CAN I DEDUCT MY DONATIONS?

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your donations can be deducted as a Charitable Donation.

Camp Verde Adult Reading Program (CVARP) is a non-profit Arizona organization established in 1988.

The IRS classifies CVARP as a 501(c) 3 organization, and your donation is tax-deductible on your Federal Income Tax.

WHERE IS CVARP LOCATED?

CVARP is located in the Camp Verde Community Library. See the CONTACT US page for directions.

Who can use the learning programs at CVARP?

Anyone 16 years of age or older and not enrolled in school may attend. No identification is required.

WHO ARE YOUR TYPICAL STUDENTS?

Our students come from Camp Verde, Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Cornville, Rimrock and Sedona. Our students range from 16 years old to 70 years old.

HOW DOES YOUR GED PROGRAM WORK?

One of the best features of our program is the flexibility that it offers.  We offer open enrollment, and our students can work from home using a software program called GED Academy. Most of the units on GED Academy are only 25 minutes long which allows the student to study even a small amount of time each day. If the student starts having issues understanding a unit, they can schedule time to come in and work one on one with our GED teacher.

HOW WILL EARNING MY GED HELP ME?

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics for 2020, people who hold a high school diploma or GED will make approximately $12,500 more than someone without.
